Re-Opening Plan: Fall 2021

KIPP Indy Families – We are thrilled to see 100% of students for in-person instruction next Monday!

The safety of our students, families, and staff remains our #1 priority, and we continue to partner closely with public health agencies and community partners.  KIPP believes that in-person instruction is in the best interests of students’ academic progress and overall well-being, and so our planning is aimed to implement mitigation efforts that maximize our ability to serve all students in-person.  Attached, and available on our website, is KIPP’s full re-opening plan.  As part of this plan, please note that KIPP Indy will require mask wearing for all students and staff in instructional settings regardless of vaccination status. If you have questions, email

Other Information

  1. As a tool to strengthen mitigation efforts against CV-19, KIPP strongly recommends the CV-19 vaccine for all who are eligible. To inform our planning /supports, we ask all families to take this anonymous 1-min survey.
  2. To maximize distancing on buses, we ask families, based on their ability, to carpool or walk if they are able. If you have not let us know your student(s) will NOT need a bus in Q1 (Aug 2-Oct 8), click
